In line with the conference theme “virtues are praised, humanity is upheld in the fifth industrial revolution (ir5.0)”, many sub-fields from the field of social sciences and humanities are proposed for discussion in this conference. Sub-fields like Islamic Studies and Moral Studies should be the axis in “giving birth” to a holistic human being. The element of education is important to maintain the survival of cultural values, humanity and civilization. Environmentally friendly elements of science and technology are unavoidable in maintaining an evergreen and fertile earth.
Philosophy and ethics become a peg to build character, psychological development, art, literature and culture of the people of the world. The creation of a harmonious world without conflicts depends on understanding and appreciating the philosophy and nature of human and natural existence. In this relationship, aspects of gender, citizenship, law, politics and administration also contribute to the preservation of humanity in the world community. Innovation in the education of history, geography, environment, drama, theatre, music and counselling is very necessary to deal with the challenges in the era of globalization of the world.
Therefore, various topics and issues directly and indirectly related to the conference theme can be brought up by the presenters and conference participants for discussion.

The town of Tanjong Malim is located in the district of Muallim (Knowledge City), in the state of Perak, Malaysia. Tanjong Malim is famous because it has Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), a factory producing national cars branded “Proton”, rich in various traditional Malay, Chinese and Indian foods as well as the greenery of tropical rainforests and waterfalls which are natural treasures.
